Bleached Car Carpet

Mix tsp of mild dish soap with 1 cup of warm water.

Blot up the wet bleach with a cold damp towel then pour warm soapy water over the area. Let it sit for about 5 minutes then use a clean damp sponge dipped in cold water to blot the area. For starters it is important to know that the bleach spots are not stains a stain is simply a spill of a drink food dirt or other substance that gets into your fibers discoloring it from the physical substance and allowing it to dry attached to the fibers. As soon as you notice the bleach stain immediately blot it with water and paper towel.

A bleach spill on a carpet whether it be large or small leaves behind a telltale mark. Take care not to soak the area with water as it will need to dry before you proceed. Pour the solution over the bleach stain and let sit for about 5 minutes. Cut some carpet fibers from a hidden area of the floor.

Bleach spots on carpet. Be careful not to scrub or rub the bleach as this could worsen the stain. Technically bleach does not stain a carpet. Rinse the bleach stain using a sponge and warm water.

Instead it strips the dye out of the carpet fibers leaving a mark.
