Bleach can be used to clean granite but if the corrosive liquid is allowed to sit too long on the material it can eat through the protective layer of sealant. All you ll need is a rag lukewarm water. Liquid bleach is safe to use occasionally to treat stains on granite and other types of stone but it shouldn t be used daily. The care card suggested pouring bleach right over the stain and letting it sit overnight with some plastic wrap over it to keep the granite moist. You won t need to buy special bleach or anything like that.

If you are trying to remove an old stain create a dense paste of more baking soda and less water. Water stains are rare but can occur on granite countertops. While daily maintenance is easy with warm water and mild soap it s important to know how to remove stains from quartz without damaging your countertops backsplashes and other surfaces. Quartz is a very stain resistant material but it is not stain proof.
