Remember to never use bleach directly on the carpet.
Wipe with plain water to rinse.
You need to mix a cup of the bleach with a gallon of water to create a safe mixture which can be used on your rug.
Run a towel or cloth under cold water squeeze it out then use it to blot out the affected area.
